Monsoon Recipe Besan Ka Halwa


Ingredients:

  1. Besan (Gram Flour)
  2. 1 cup

  3. Milk
    1 cup

  4. Sugar
    3/4 cup

  5. OR in place of milk and sugar add Sugar syrup as in mal pua
  6. Cardamom powder 1 tsp
  7. Pure ghee 1/2
    cup

  8. Almonds or Cashews or Pista
  9. 10 or 15 finely chopped
  10. Method:
    Heat ghee in a thick pan
    prefer copper bottom karahi.

    Now add gram flour and keep
    on stirring on low flame until the flour turns golden colour.

    Then add cardamom, milk and
    sugar.
    Keep on
    stirring the mixture until the mixture turns thick. Serve hot by decorating with
    fried nuts.
