Breaking News flashed on scroll bar, a 6.5 on Richter scale Earthquake in Andaman Islands. The Andaman Islands were also included on high alert list, when I released the 48 hour long Earthquake Alert on 7th August, 2008. There was no report of any loss of life, as this post is being published here.

This time the time frame of 48 hours was quite accurate.I have predicted Sichuan Quake and had given an ALERT on 7th August at 9pm IST (Read Quake alert August 2008, for Sichuan, Northern India, Pakistan, Afghanistan). Earthquake strikes SW China’s Sichuan Province
Quake of 4.3 strikes SW China’s Sichuan Province, (Xinhua)
Updated: 2008-08-08 23:20CHENGDU – A tremor measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale struck southwest China’s Sichuan Province at 9:12 p.m. on Friday.
The Sichuan Provincial Earthquake Administration said the quake occurred between Shifang and Mianzhu, both in Sichuan and among the worst- hit areas in the major May 12 earthquake.
The tremor was felt in other areas such as Wenchuan, Beichuan, Qingchuan and Chengdu.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
The death toll from the May 12 earthquake in Sichuan Province and its neighboring region stood at 69,222 as of Thursday noon, and the number of people listed as missing and injured reached 18,176 and 374,638 respectively.

Moderate quake hits eastern Indonesia

The quake struck at 03:40 Jakarta time (2040 GMT Friday) with epicenter at 66 km southeast Raba of East Nusa Tenggara province and at 10 km in depth, an official of the agency said.
