3 Idiots the Bollywood Movie

3 Idiots film review3 Idiots Movie reviewI have seen this movie 3 Idiots, staring Aamir Khan, R. Madhavan, Sherman Joshi, Boman Irani and Karina Kapoor. This film should have been given with 15+ viewership ratings. Now lets see sixth sense analysis of the minds behind this business.First we discuss the seeding thoughts and personal motives that push people to play their role in this world. Lets start with Mr. Aamir Khan. The forty five year old actor is very ambitious and is banging his desires to get Oscar award. He recently launched his nephew Imran in the film industry with a bubbly college story and I really of view that this movie was for Imran to play the protagonist, rather than his fourtyfive year old uncle. I enjoyed the film for its funny script, but it certainly lacked any glimpse of acting on the part of Aamir Khan, who played the role of protagonist Rancho. If I have to rate actors on the basis of their acting skills in 3 Idiots movie, then one name is undisputedly stands out and that is of Boman Irani. Boman Irani played the role of Viru Sahastrabudhhe a.k.a Virus. Then comes the name of R. Madhvan who played the role of Farhan Qureshi. He did played the role well. After R. Madhvan a new face caught my attention Omi Vaidya who played the role of Chatur Ramalingam a.k.a Silencer. Omi Vaidya did the most dramatic part of the movie. Sherman Joshi who played the role of Raju Rastogi also justified his role well. Sherman also showed some level of acting skills. Now if I have to write something about Aamir Khan’s acting skills in protegonist Rancho’s role in 3 Idiots movie, I just like to say Aamir khan plainly followed the script/screen play. His acting was plain, dull and average. Aamir couldn’t even mach Sanjay Dutt in Muna Bhai MBBS (again Rajkumar Hirani Film, had to serch his name via google, ๐Ÿ™‚ ). Now Sunjay Dutt semes more talented than Aamir; he surely is. I don’t know whether Aamir delebrately play this role in such way or this is his top most skills act.

3 Idiots the Movie Title : Neither it justify to the main characters/roles, nor to the story of the film. They were rather projected more intelligent than rest. How come the title suits to this film? It seems the title has been deliberately choosen so (like catchy words to market the film even though it does not relate to story) as comic films are doing better business in India and specially Norther parts. Yeah! we love to gag and shake our tummies like a diesel engine, that is the only fitness exercise we follow “trunk vibrator” followed by lacrimation of eyes.

The genre of Film is social and I must say Aamir Khan deserves an applaud for this. I have addressed this issue of pushing kids into engineering and medical professions while ignoring their natural interests, in one of my previous blog post (who knows they have been reading my blog).

What adds more to this darkness is, that it is not a single hospital, single doctor thing. Most doctors here in India has same modus operandi. There always exists a nexus, between medico-surgical supplier and the gang of doctors. Whether its a non-critical orthopedic implants and prosthetics or ultra critical supplies and usables like in cardiac, oncology and nephrology cases. These doctors just see a big money making opportunity in every misery/suffering of patient.
The blame can be transferred very easily and aptly on our system and thinking of carrier oriented parents. Since last couple of decades it has become a trend in Indian society that every child in city should get a label of doctor, Engineer at what ever cost. Business people saw an unexploited market and put their money on setting up Technical and medical institutes at a speed you would have been bewildered, if you were a witness of this trend here in India. And its now all capitalist business mindset here “Hungry for cash !”.

A person who has paid 5 to 10 lacs1 Indian rupees to get a label of Dr. or Er. before their name would ever walk on social service track (though they do name it as social service sector).

Overall cinematography is good, story is good, script is good and screen play is even better, but if Aamir Khan plans to take it to Oscars or any other globally acclaimed awards then I must say this film is not of “that standard”. Yeah! Aamir khan is eying Oscars and everybody knows it, but in my view (“as audience comparative analysis”; ๐Ÿ™‚ ) he has to travel some more distance to gather new insight into film making.
