Female egg donors and surrogate mothers in India

Surrogacy in India
Surrogacy in India

“Amazing teens!”, that is the exact word bounced in my mind, when I listened to my “teenaged” friend. Yep! my social circle consists of varied age groups. From kids of age group 8 to 10 years, to mature persons of 25 to 35 years age group and then a few seniors (my father’s colleagues). Guess what?? most of these asks me, when I’ll be getting married? It has become part a social greeting, in my circle. But recently, one of the teen friend, who probably going through emotional turmoil because of rough phase of his newly found relationship, told me that he does not want to get into “emotional affairs” anymore. He found that the females of his age group, unfaithful and insensitive. Then he progressed into his future plans and also advised me not to get married. I suggested him, “A life spent without finding love, is not a good way to go. One needs family and children to build world around”. Then this teen, who was determined not to trust female gender, told me, that he will not get married but instead will opt for a child from a surrogate mother. Then, he suggested me to go for the same option. The benefits! he elaborated further, independent life and no botheration of a wife, just you and your kids.
“Oh my God!” I thought. These kids are so advanced. I was surprised to hear all this from a teenaged friend, but at the same time, his suggestion were so practical and likable. I do agree, it is a good option for the men, who are not finding a “suitable life partner”. This kid went further and told me, why this surrogacy thing is best option? He suggested that, one can choose eggs from female donors of their liking. “Vicky Donor movie nahi dekhi kya aap ney?”, he asked me. I said, “I haven’t”. He then said,”you must see this movie. Its a total fun to watch!”. Now, I think, “I must watch Vicky Donor movie,e as soon as possible”.
While searching about surrogate mothers and availability of female eggs on internet, I came to know that, this option is mostly chosen by gays and lesbians. Because they prefer to live with same gender partner. I am not part of these types of groups. But, I asked my self,”What is wrong in it, if a straight man likes to have his own child while living as single?”. “Nothing wrong!”, answered my inner self. “But what about the divine duty towards society?”. Yes! for men like me, who live on spiritual ground are very much living for society and nature. The “Hindu Vedic morals” guide our thoughts and life path. No-matter how scientific and Divinely blessed may it look, to have a child from a surrogate mother, but it will push us to a social order where, woman will loose her divinely/natural noble stature in “synthetic society of future”.
On a spiritual life path, a man normally avoids the steps where he has to become a “self-fish” person. As we know, it leads towards falsehood and depletes the conscious order, from Godhead to mere-mortal animal like. Till now, I have been walking in divine order and its rope is very fragile, one wrong step takes to path of illusion and its then becomes much harder to catch back the track. I still think of the harmonious social order as best civilized social support system where man can progress towards divinity. Persons, those who can not comprehend what divinity and God is? I tell them a simple phrase,”If you want love and care in this world, you have to seed them first in your own heart. The day you do this you step in divine conscious order”.

Teaching kids about social norms the Hindu way

Yahoo Lifestyle Photo
The Hindu Way – Teaching Social norms to kids

I have been using Yahoo!mail since the time Internet was introduced in India and nothing much have changed about yahoo in all these years except that now Yahoo serves us Indians more voluptuous news items and sometimes seems like teasing India’s social fabric that has grown weak and anemic in this time of freely available sexual materials on internet and mobile media. We live in India of ethics that we inherited from our religious texts like Vedas, Shrimad Bhagwatgeeta, Ramayana, Mahabharta, caste – clan’s traditions, Spiritual masters and to some extent also to the Anglo-Vedic schools where we are taught ethic lessons from primary classes through Sanatan Dharma’s Panchtantra style books. I was surprised to receive a sms from mobile service provider wherein they were inviting subscribers to watch Sunny Leone in hot avatar (aka Karenjeet Kaur Malhotra, the infamous Punjabi girl from Canadian origin, adult film actress and model). Yeah! “infamous” she is, but these days people have forgotten the difference between being goodly famous and being infamous. The dumb minds just can’t differentiate? Anything that is being said or shown in the idiot box is the ultimate truth. Yes! you might have heard about the nightly telecast of Lunar landing in USA in 1960s ? We love the culture of personal rights and level of freedom prevalent in United States but not at the cost of loosing age old wisdom of Indian culture.  Ever heard of SEO? People on Net start liking and talking about things they like, which you imagined as utterly disgusting. That is how, info bomb manipulation works. Second example of this is very clearly seen in India’s medical more aptly I say Pharmaceutical sector the medical drug industry. Every other so called “Senior Professor” in Medicine is nothing more than a brain washed Frankenstein Monster, who is being fed from medical research papers released in USA and UK. One day he will prescribe some NSAID and keep on applauding its safety and benefits in controlling the physiological disorder then as soon as a new paper is published about the same drug causing sever or near fetal adverse affects our “Senior doctor Saab” starts preaching against the exact NSAID he was betting patient’s life on. Yes, I agree not every information has a manipulative objective in it and it is a healthy thing to get yourself updated with the latest developments in the field of medical science in order to server the patients in more effective and comforting way. I was talking about Yahoo’s landing page where it serves us all kind of news to grab our attention. Some news article are indeed good information to grab. Like one article was about Credit and Debit cards and how to use these safely and securely and another was about health benefits of Beetroot salad. A few days ago, I read an article about how to answer kids when they ask about Rape etc and impart them sex education at home. The link to article : Let’s Talk About It: Fathers, daughters and the R-word
There the author of article wrote how he and his wife teach their five year old daughter about private parts of her body, who can touch her and what is “good touch” and “bad touch”. I disagreed with the author and posted my views in comments to that article.
I wrote a response, where I said :

Param Lowe : I disagree with the author of this article. His daughter is too young to understand bad touch or good touch thing. I have rather choosen to teach my niece by behaving that when she is not in proper dress or is changing cloths etc. she needs to have privacy or in her mother’s (my sister) or Nani Ma’s company, away from men of house. This behavior has set a sketch of social boundaries in her mind”.

Then another user Remiya from Mumbai city, asked clarification on my comment and she wrote :

Mr Param, I agree with you to a certain extent but I do not understand what u mean by “she needs to have privacy or in her sister or Nani ma’s company away from men.”
……do u mean women are shameless or all men are lusty wolves. So we can take away women’s freedom or teach our men to be caring and have conscience. A freely dressed women is like a wallet filled with money lying on the ground. Its a man’s values that will make him pick the wallet and pull off everything in it or leave it untouched or report it to safety.
And the best time to teach anything to a boy or girl is in their childhood, u will agree.

and to her question my reply was this

Oh dear! Do you know why there are traffic light on roads? Those are not just to control traffic jam and accidents. There is also an objective to set a social behavior among people to respect others right to use the roads equally and safely. That is what I am trying to achieve with my niece. She is now very much aware of not just her privacy issue but also about stranger’s limits/boundaries of behavior around her. This has achieved more than that. There is a level of respect and affection among us, because men who care about people and society are mostly socialists and always tries to find ways to achieve social harmony and civilized order. I hope you understand my point. God Bless You!”

Soldier’s Valentine : My Country My Love

I just wanted to share this patriotic poem broadcasted by SAB Tv on 26th Jan, 2013.

I had been a NCC cadet (Army Wing) in School days. Patriotism is best thing, I have learned from Sawami Dayanand Saraswati Anglo Vedic Education Society. Recently our country Bharat a.k.a India has witnessed lowest form of leadership. The scams, bribery scandals, leadership transfer like dynastic rule to family’s incompetent heirs and failure of reformist movements which was launched by some social activists have demoralized the patriotic people. But still there is light of hope.
We Indians need to take a stand form a “Sangah” a unified front to counter such degraded Political system in India. Lets sing our love song for our nations. Lets salute our soldiers. Jai Hindi, Jai Bharat.

Is ceramic pan or cookware safe for cooking?

Ceramic Cookware Fry Pan
Ceramic Cookware Fry Pan

We live in India and every new merchant tries to sell things to Indian consumer. In India women mostly choose to be a household manager and generally does the cooking for her family. The sole main source of entertainment for Indian housewives is the Cable TV, DTH or Satellite TV. My mother is no different. She likes to watch TV a lot. The home shopping channels are most favorite among women and it is a universal phenomena. Recently she saw a ceramic cookware being sold on one of the Tele Shopping Channel. I remember that last time I saw a ceramic cookware was one Military Jug from Russia. My mother told me to order one for her. Being an aware consumer, I prefer to search on net about the newly invented product and then decide whether to buy it or not. I did some research on safety of ceramic coated pans and cookware and found out that there is risk of Lead poisoning from such cookware and I have decided not to buy ceramic cookware.

Why Mahadeva ShivShankara could not recognized Ganesha?

God is simple and same is with His stories, but man’s quest for knowledge has made it complex just to satisfy man’s intellect. Mahadeva lives with limit of a body and still remain in His Godly glory.

The Ganesha Story :-

Why Mahadeva did not recognised Ganesha?

When a man returns home after a few days journey & finds a 7-8 years old kid claiming himself son of his wife, its natural that the man would not accept it for real. All the gunas called Devi Parvati as their mother, so it was obvious that everybody assumed the Balak as a sevak of Devi Parvati. He was named Ganesh/Ganpati by Bhrahma dev afterwords, and not on his birth, as it is shown in some kids movies, that Devi Parvati was calling this balak Ganesha before Mahadeva threw His dunda at the balaka”

What is Ego?

What is Ego?
Ego is a temporary state! Knowledge is not a domain of ego. Knowledge is domain of calm devotional Soul. You must have played with a metal coin in your life. See if you press or rub it real hard, it becomes hot and its temperature in an acquired one not a nature of the metal itself… that is Ego.. its a false state not a nature of Soul or Mind 🙂

Love, Light and Peace be upon you…

God Bless…

Poem : What Amused God?

What Amused God?
By Param Lowe (28 July, 2012)

A child wondering around,
Met God on the way,
The lonely child amused God,
God asked the lonely child, “Where do you live?”
“In my home”, said the child,
God smiled and asked again,
“Where is your home?”,
“Very far away”, said the child,
God worried for the lonely child,
No one of hers seems around,
The child saw a stray dog roaming around,
The child screamed for her mother,
From a corner her mother appears,
Mother asks the child to grab man’s hand,
But the child runs towards mother’s heaven,
This amused God even more,
God smiled and said, “Bless you both”.
